Roadside Markers

Washington State has many roadside markers along the highways. The Washington State Department of Transportation lists the "Historical Markers in Washington State" on its website. I am attempting to locate and photograph all of the markers, and found a number of errors. In some cases I was unable to find the marker. In others, the marker was not where their website stated. I am working on creating a page for each marker, along with the text from the marker and it's location.

For example, here is the roadside marker for the old town of Blewett on the Blewett Pass Highway:

I have also found many markers that are not documented on the Washington DOT website. I am still searching for any other information on these markers. I will document them here as I find them. Many are designated with a "Heritage Marker" sign near the marker.
